The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is back for 2023 with an all-new lineup!

Theo Von will headline on Friday, July 14th to open the festival!

Theo Von grew up in the stray animal belt of southern Louisiana. He was a child there and became an adult slowly there. He can be seen and heard weekly on his widely popular podcast that garners millions of listens/views a month THIS PAST WEEKEND. Theo’s new comedy special REGULAR PEOPLE was filmed at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN and is now streaming on Netflix. In the Spring of 2020 Theo completed his two year DARK ARTS TOUR, which took him across America, Australia, and Europe, and another country. He’s currently on the road with his RETURN OF THE RAT TOUR. If you
want to know how Theo is doing he is probably doing the best he can; which varies.

Joining Theo Von on July 14 are comedians Sam Morril and Laura Peek. Morril is one of the fastest-rising stand-up comics in NY currently on his tour Class Act selling out theatres across North America and he’s one of the best joke writers in the scene today. Laura was recently selected to be a ‘New Face’ at the prestigious 2022 ‘Just For Laughs Festival’ in Montreal, and was named one of Vulture Magazine’s Comics You Should and Will Know 2022.

Bill Burr will headline on Sunday July 16 to close out the Festival!

An Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian, Bill Burr is one of the top comedic voices of his generation achieving success in TV and film as well as on stage. Bill’s Monday Morning Podcast is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts, his arena and amphitheater tour, Bill Burr (Slight Return), toured across North America in 2022 and, on August 21, Bill made history as the first comedian to perform at Fenway Park.

**Please Note: Bill Burr’s performance will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories
will not be permitted on the festival grounds during that time. Upon arrival at the event guests will be given a Yondr pouch and at the designated time they will be required to secure their phones, smart watches and accessories in it. Guests will maintain possession of their phones, smart watches and accessories at all times.**

A portion of proceeds from festival ticket sales in Edmonton will be donated to Boyle Street Community Services, supporting individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness and poverty in Edmonton.
