Participate in a Canada 150 Skating Day by attending the event happening in Edmonton at the Downtown Community Arena on Downtown Community Arena from 1pm-5pm! There will also be a photo booth, and TONS of giveaways during the event!

PLUS, the Skate Bank, donated by Heritage Canada and Rogers, will be available to the public FREE OF CHARGE. The public will have access to skates, guards, and helments!

This event is a co-partnership event between the Gibbons Skating Club and the Edmonton Catholic Schools. The Edmonton Catholic Schools are inviting new immigrant families in experience one of Canada’s favourite past-times – skating. They are bussing in the students and their families and they will have access to the Canada 150/Rogers Skate Bank. For the majority of the students and their families it will be the first time they get to put on skates and find out how much fun it can be.
