Sweden has given the world many great things – IKEA, Swedish meatballs, Swedish fish, IKEA.

Among them – the Museum of Failure. It’s a collection of failed products and services, providing visitors with a learning experience about the role of failure for innovation. They hope to encourage organizations to become better at learning from failure.

Some of the items on display: Bic for Her, Google Glass, Harley Davidson cologne, Lego Fibre Optics and Apple Pippin – Apple’s first attempt at a gaming system and Apple TV back in ’96.

The museum opened in June 2017, and already has an international pop up tour planned. The exhibit will be in Los Angeles from December – February 4. Hopefully a visit to Edmonton is somewhere on that list!
