It was announced last fall that Jay Chandrasekhar, the director and mastermind of Super Troopers had started the wheels in motion for Super Troopers 2, the crowd-funded sequel to the beloved cult comedy.

Today, Chandrasekhar announced on Twitter that the film, centred around a gang of hilarious state troopers, has officially begun shooting this morning.
