Ben Gibbard will be pulling double duty for both Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service when they head out on tour next year.

The tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of both Death Cab For Cutie’s Transatlanticism and The Postal Service’s Give Up. Gibbard is a member of both bands, forming The Postal Service in 2001 with producer Jimmy Tamborello and Jenny Lewis.

Together, the bands will perform the albums in full each night. The shows will mark the first performances from The Postal Service in over a decade.

In a statement, Gibbard said, “I know for a fact I will never have a year again like 2003. The Postal Service record came out, Transatlanticism came out. These two records will be on my tombstone, and I’m totally fine with that. I’ve never had a more creatively inspired year.”

Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 16 at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster.
