Today Red Hot Chili Peppers revealed another song off their upcoming album Unlimited Love, called “Poster Child”.

The track follows “Black Summer”, the first song on the new album, which was released earlier last month. These songs are the first with thier newly rejoined guitarist, John Frusciante, since 2006. The return of Frusciante is apparent with the funky guitar and wah pedal effects heard in “Poster Child”. Listen for yourself below!

They also released an animated music video for “Poster Child” which you can watch here. The song dropped just a day before John Frusciante’s birthday, the guitarist turns 52 tomorrow.

According to Warner Music “Unlimited Love represents the united spirit of four individual souls still fearlessly exploring the future of their eternal friendship and musical congregation. ” The album comes out April 1st.

The Chili Peppers do have a tour scheduled this summer for the new album, however their only Canadian date thus far is in Toronto on August 21.
