Eddie Vedder’s daughter is following in his musical footsteps. Last month, the 17-year old took the stage at her dad’s Ohana Festival to perform her debut single for the first time.

Released in August, “My Father’s Daughter” is included in Sean Penn’s latest film, Flag Day.

“My Father’s Daughter” was written by Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard. The two men provided the soundtrack with the help of Cat Power. Penn says, “After this flood of gorgeous songs from Cat Power, Glen Hansard, and Eddie Vedder, we were just about to do a final mix on the film when Ed sent me Olivia singing ‘My Father’s Daughter.’ It became just the perfect cherry on top of the sundae.”

Now, professionally captured footage of Olivia performing the song live has been released on Eddie Vedder’s official YouTube page.
