1. New Music Discovery: Coldplay – Music of the Spheres

On October 15, Coldplay release their ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres. The album marks the first time a band has used emojis as song titles. The release comes shortly after frontman Chris Martin admitted that the band only has “three albums left”.

The Edmonton Comedy Festival is back for their eleventh year with four days of laughs! From October 13-16, enjoy some of Canada’s best comedy talent across five Edmonton venues.

All attendees are required to show proof of vaccination, a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of performance, or documentation of a medical exemption.

3. Edmonton Oilers vs. Calgary Flames

After their shoot-out win against the Canucks, your Oilers are taking on the Flames for the first official Battle of Alberta of the season. Cheer them on Saturday night at Rogers Place or on Sportsnet at 8pm MT.

The Rogers Place restriction policy requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to the game’s scheduled start time.
