Arcade Fire have shared the a video of their first-ever performance of their song, “The Suburbs”, in front of a live audience.

The video comes after the band began teasing archival footage from The Suburbs‘ era, including a hand-written post card address to fans.

In addition to the unearthed footage, the band announced new Suburbs merch with a portion of proceeds going to Fair Fight Action, “who are advocating for an equitable runoff election in Georgia this January”. The band explain that the collection was “designed by visual artist Renata Morales, who has been one of our creative collaborators for over a decade”.
