Sloan Struble, better known as Dayglow, is a 20-year-old from Austin, Texas. He chose the name “Dayglow” from the song “Day Glo” by Brazos. Although he says his main influences include Michael Jackson and Tame Impala.

Dayglow began using Garageband at just 10-years-old to make his own music. Since then he’s written, recorded, and produced everything himself. His debut album Fuzzybrain was released back in September 2018, and the only people to hear the songs before the album release were his “parents right down the hall”. He was attending the University of Texas studying marketing when his music began to take off, but his parents said he should drop out and pursue music. His dad said, “Yeah, you probably shouldn’t be in school if this is happening.” Zenegra http://www.wolfesimonmedicalassociates.com/zenegra/

“Can I Call You Tonight” grew in popularity on TikTok and has amassed over 9 million streams.

Originally he had the music for “Can I Call You Tonight”, but not the lyrics. Then one night when his power was out at his house, a friend called him. He used that conversation as inspiration for the lyrics. You can hear the reference to the power outage in the song as well. He admits there isn’t much purpose behind the song.
