The long-running police reality TV show Cops has been cancelled amid police brutality and systemic racism protests. Paramount Network confirmed that the show would not be returning after 32 seasons on the air.

“Cops is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return,” said a network spokesperson in a statement.

The news comes ten days after the network tweeted solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

The show originally launched in 1989.
