Londonderry Mall is rallying our city together in order to raise money for their #FeedOurCommunityLondonderry campaign.

COVID-19 has created tough times for everyone, so as a city it’s important to lift each other up and be supportive. That’s the reasoning for the Feed Our Communities Londonderry campaign, which is directed at the organizations working to feed our neighbours.

The nonprofits in Edmonton, like YESS are currently working to help people who can’t feed themselves right now, like at-risk children. YESS stands for Youth Empowerment and Support Services, and their mission is “To walk beside traumatized youth on their journey towards healing and appropriate community integration.”

From now until May 11th you can help by donating on the campaign’s website. If you don’t have the funds for that right now you can still take part by sharing one of their graphics on your social media account using the hashtag #FeedOurCommunityLondonderry, to spread the word. You can also find the graphics here. When you share a graphic they have the following message to post along with it, if you so choose.

“Whether you are able to make a donation or not, please help us to share and inspire others to support these organizations. You can send this website to your network, and download the graphics below to share on your social channels.”
