Arkells recently announced The Rally, a show in their hometown, Hamilton. They posted a pretty fun video with Nick Nurse, coach of the Toronto Raptors to make the announcement. It seems like he really loves their new song, “Years In The Making”, as he puts it on the set list quite a few times.

The band did reference the team in their blog about “Years In The Making” saying:

“…it’s those hard times that give you the flavour and the grit that make you who you are today. If you keep at it, and you surround yourself with good people, good things will come your way. Even my beloved Toronto Raptors won a championship. Or you got into that program you applied for. Or you completed 10 pushups. Whatever your goal is, you gotta keep pushing.”

 

The show will also feature Bleachers, K.Flay and Haviah Mighty in Hamilton, Saturday June 20th, 2020.
