This Is It: The Strokes have officially returned! After announcing a new album and debuting two new songs live, the band has officially shared a new track entitled “Bad Decisions”.

The new song will appear on their forthcoming album The New Abnormal. It’ll mark the band’s first release since 2013’s Comedown Machine.

Frontman Julius Casablancas announced the album at a Bernie Sanders rally on February 10. The band followed it up with a social post, confirming the news.

The Strokes first teased the new music at a New Year’s Eve show in their hometown of New York City.

Casablancas told fans in the crowd, “Yeah, we’ve got a new album coming out soon! Surprise! 2020, here we come. The 2010s, whatever the f*** they’re called, we took ’em off. And now we’ve been unfrozen, and we’re back.”

The New Abnormal is out on April 10. See where it lands on our list of the most anticipated legacy albums of the year here.
