Pardis Parker is a Sri-Lankan born Canadian comedian with an impressive resume: he’s a corespondent and writer for CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes in Canada, was a frequent guest on Comedy Central’s @midnight in the US, and is the creator and star of Comedy Central’s hit new digital series, Mideast Minute.

Pardis is taking his comedic prowess to Edmonton this weekend at Yuk Yuks – so we sat down with Pardis to chat what it’s like working for “This Hour”, – Canada’s SNL, and what it’s like being a comedian in such politically correct & politically divisive times.

Oh, and there was a few laughs of course too!
