Gibson Guitars have launched a limited edition Chris Cornell guitar.

The specialized model, called Chris Cornell ES 335, pays tribute to the late Soundgarden frontman who passed away in 2016.

The guitar is available for pre-order now and will become available worldwide on September 3 through authorized Gibson dealers.

“Chris Cornell was not only one of the most iconic singer-songwriters of all time, he was a modern innovator who left a legacy that transcends music genres and generations,” said Gibson’s chief merchant officer Cesar Gueikian.
