‘Stranger Things 3’ breaks Netflix record for most-viewed series in first four days

Stanger Things just broke Netflix’s record for the most-watched series. Within the first four days of the show becoming available, over 40 million people have watched it.

40.7 million household accounts have been watching the show since its July 4 global launch — more than any other film or series in its first four days. And 18.2 million have already finished the entire season.

Investment banking company Raymond James crunched the numbers and discovered that with over 40 million views, the show has reached more than a quarter of Netflix’s subscribers, more than any other show or movie on the platform.
