Travis Barker is reflecting on the 15th anniversary of his fatal plane crash.

In 2008, Barker was involved in a plane crash that killed his assistant, Chis Barker, security guard Charles “Che” Still, and both pilots. His friend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein survived the crash but died one year later due to an overdose.

On Wednesday, Barker shared a statement to his Instagram Story, saying “Rest In Peace” followed by the victims’ names. He added, “Gone but never forgotten”.

Following the accident, Barker suffered third-degree burns on 65 percent of his body and spent three months in the hospital, receiving 26 surgeries.

After the incident, Barker refused to fly, opting to take busses, trains, and cruise ships to travel. In 2021, he shared that his now-wife Kourtney Kardashian gave him the “strength” to fly again.

Earlier this week, Blink-182 announced their new album, ONE MORE TIME. The record marks the first time Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge have released an album together in 12 years. It will be released on October 20.
