On Thursday, January 26, Jimmy Kimmel celebrated the 20th anniversary of his late-night talk show. As part of the celebration, Coldplay returned to perform their 2002 track “Clocks”.

Coldplay were Kimmel’s first-ever musical guest. His first guests Snoop Dogg and George Clooney also returned.

The performance took place hours after it was announced that Pedro Pascal would host with musical guest Coldplay on the February 4 episode of Saturday Night Live.

The day after the episode airs, Coldplay could add to their Grammy wins. This year, they are nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album for Music of the Spheres, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their BTS collaboration “My Universe”.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Florence + The Machine, Wet Leg, and more are also nominated. See who wins on music’s biggest night on Sunday, February 5 on CityTV.
