Fall Out Boy have been sending out cryptic postcards to fans with the title “Pink Seashell Beach”.

The postcards feature the message “I saw you in a bright clear field. Hurricane heat in my head. The kind of pain you feel to get good in the end. Inscribed like stone and faded by the rain: ‘Give up what you love give up what you love before it does you in…”

The band has also launched a new website called sendingmylovefrompinkseashellbeach.com that invites fans to join them “for a tiny sneak peek into the world”. The website also includes a note that says “Do not open till Christmas”. When clicked, it opens a form fans can fill out with their mailing info.

The postcards come weeks after Fall Out Boy began teasing their eighth studio album by taking out a full-page ad in the Chicago Tribune with the phrase “If you build it, it will come”.

Fall Out Boy released their last album M A N I A in 2018.
