Glass Animals have broken a big record! Billboard has reported that the band’s smash hit, “Heat Waves”, has broken the record for the longest-charting Hot 100 single.

The song has now spent 91 weeks (nearly two years) as one of the most played songs in the U.S., breaking The Weeknd’s record of “Blinding Lights” staying on the charts for 90 weeks.

In response to the news, Glass Animal frontman Dave Bayley told Billboard, “Wow, all I can say is wow.”
