Blink-182 have officially returned! On Thursday (October 13), the newly-reunited band released their first song in three years, “Edging”.

The song will appear on the band’s forthcoming album, marking the band’s first release with Tom DeLonge since 2011’s Neighborhoods.

On Tuesday (October 11), Blink-182 blew minds by announcing that they had reunited with DeLonge.

The news comes just a couple of months after Mark Hoppus shed light on the future of Blink-182. In an interview with People, Hoppus shared that he “keep[s] writing music” and that he’s “hopeful for the future”. “I’m open to whatever the next phase of Blink is.”

Hoppus explained that he, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge reunited last year before he began chemotherapy. “It was the first time that all three of us were in the same room in like five years,” adding that their relationship is now “better than it used to be”.

Blink-182 new album will be available on vinyl, including prints of a one-time limited vinyl run. Order it here.

In a red carpet interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the musician revealed that he is “finalizing the deal” for a book after he began writing it earlier this year.

“I’m not that far into it yet but I’m writing a book about my life and experience in Blink and what I’ve gone through over the past year or so,” he explained. “We’re finalizing the deal and I’m really happy with the way that’s coming together. I’m excited to tell my story.”
