Queens of the Stone Age have been busy in the studio, according to frontman Josh Homme’s bandmate Jesse Hughes.

The two founded Eagles of Death Metal in 1998. In an Instagram Live video, Hughes was asked what he’s been up to. He responded with just one word – “recording”.

He went on to say that Eagles of Death Metal are “recording a new record. Queens just did one, now we’re doing ours now.” Watch the footage below.

Queens of the Stone Age released their last album, Villians, in 2017.

The news comes shortly after QOTSA began revealing their touring plans for 2023. As of now, they have just two dates, both taking place in Germany in June.
