Don’t get too excited for a Blink-182 reunion. Frontman Mark Hoppus has said there’s “no news to share”.

The statement comes after Matt Skiba was asked if he was still in the band, to which he replied, “your guess is as good as mine. Regardless, I am very proud of and thankful for my time w @blink182. We shall see…”

That response ignited a rumor that former guitarist Tom Delonge would rejoin the band. His relationship with Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker has improved since he first left the band. In November, he fed into those speculations while appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden, saying, “I feel like I’m always talking about some kind of reunion. I mean, we always talk about playing together again. And I think that that’s definitely something we’re all interested in”.

Hoppus jumped on his Discord chat to extinguish the rumors, saying, “If and when blink has any announcement about anything, you will hear it from the official blink-182 outlets. Not teased on a radio station like ‘tune in for a major announcement…Tom tagged Mark in a photo from two decades ago.’”
