30 years from the release of their debut album Smeared, Sloan has announced they’ll be dropping a new record, on October 21st.

Steady will be the Canadian band’s 13th studio album, and their first release since 2018. Off the album they’ve released a new single called “Spend The Day”.

In a press release, Patrick Pentland, Sloan’s guitarist/vocalist, describes the track as “an invitation to join me when I was maybe at my lowest. Hide away with me from everything for a while.”
