Pete Davidson to star as Joey Ramone in new biopic

On the 20th anniversary of Joey Ramone’s passing, Netflix announced that Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson will portray the iconic rocker in an upcoming biopic.

Pete Davidson will produce and star in I SLEPT WITH JOEY RAMONE, a new biopic chronicling the life of the king of punk — whom we lost 20 years ago today.

Not only will Davidson star in the film, but he also wrote the script and will act as a producer.

I Slept With Joey Ramone will chronicle the punk rocker’s life and career with The Ramones.
