A day after Dave Grohl announced his new documentary film, he and rock legend Mick Jagger released a new song called “Eazy Sleazy”.

The song’s lyrics reference vaccines, Tik Tok, masks, and other divisive topics from the past year.

In a statement, Mick Jagger said, “I wanted to share this song that I wrote about eventually coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism – thank you to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this – hope you all enjoy Eazy Sleazy!”

Grohl, who played drums, bass, and guitar on the track, released his own statement on Twitter calling the collaboration “beyond a dream come true”.

Foo Fighters released their tenth studio album, Medicine At Midnight, in February. Grohl will release his new film, What Drives Us, this month. His book, Dave Grohl: Storyteller, will be out in October.
