Weezer has just released a new track off their upcoming fourteenth studio album, OK Human.

Their album Van Weezer, inspired by the music of Van Halen, was intended for a 2020 release, but has since been postponed to May 7th, 2021. While in quarantine, Rivers Cuomo pulled inspiration from another band from his youth, The Beach Boys and their album Pet Sounds.

Although OK Human sounds nothing at all like Radiohead, the title is a nod to OK Computer. While recording the album this summer, Weezer was joined by a 38 piece orchestra, for the first time ever.

As per a press release, OK Human will have some of the most personal songs Cuomo has ever written, and is “a Technicolor symphonic spree that meditates on how over-and-under-connected we all are, particularly in a year where we can see each other with greater ease, but can’t be physically near each other at all.”

“All My Favorite Songs” is the first track off the album. You can watch the music video below!

The full album will be released on Friday, January 29th. You can pre-save the song here or pre-order OK Human on limited edition vinyl here.
