DW Drums has unveiled the first ever Dave Grohl ICON snare drum.

The drum has graphics around it which were inlayed by hand, including a silhouette of the Foo Fighters’ frontman, feather artwork inspired by his tattoos, and a nod to the iconic Sound City recording studio where Nirvana recorded their album Nevermind. Although it is a super limited edition instrument, with only 250 available for purchase.

“I’d like to thank everybody at DW, as this is something that blows my mind. I’ve never had my own snare drum before, and this is pretty beautiful.”

Proceeds from the drum sales will go to charity, the National Independent Venue Association, which supports independent entertainment venues that have been impacted by the pandemic.
