Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith is selling his $15M home

Chad Smith, drummer of Red Hot Chili Peppers has listed his home in the Hamptons. It’s 4 acres of “private waterfront oasis” in Montauk, NY. The house overlooks Fort Pond Bay, and comes with 259 feet of beachfront for you to enjoy, for just $15M. If the bay isn’t enough, the backyard has a heated saltwater pool.

Realtor.com says “It features an open floor plan with a great room that seamlessly transitions into the dining and living rooms. A well-appointed chef’s kitchen offers spectacular bay views, along with ample space for cooking.”

The place is 4,750 sqft, has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. On the property there’s also a two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest cottage.

Chad Smith has four kids, so naturally the house also comes with a zipline, playground, fire pit and a film-screening set-up.

Chad Smith’s wife, Nancy Mack, is actually an architect. According to Realtor.com they own another five-bedroom house, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California.

Back in January before self-isolation, Smith did confirm that there is a new Red Hot Chili Peppers album in the works, with their returned guitar player John Frusciante. There’s been no word on the album since.
