Arctic Monkeys have joined an elite group of bands – they are now one of 25 acts to achieve over 1 billion views on a music video.

The 2013 “Do I Wanna Know” music video had 1,001,988,878 views at the time of this post’s publication. It is now just one of 25 videos – only 12 of which are rock – to accomplish the feat.

Justin Bieber’s “Sorry (3.29 billion), PSY’s “Gangnam Style” (3.63 billion), and Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” (3.85 billion) are among the 25 videos to have earned over one billion views, according to Digital Trends. The most viewed video of all time is “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, which has just under 7 million.

Other rock bands to achieve the status include Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” at 1.16 billion views and Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain” at 1.37 billion.

Arctic Monkeys released their most recent album Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino in 2018.
