Pearl Jam may not be able to tour in support of their new album Gigaton, but they are inviting fans to enjoy the LP in a new way instead. The Visual Gigaton Experience arrives on Apple TV on Friday, April 24.

According to a press release, it will “bring the album alive through immersive audio and ultra-vivid picture quality.” It will be free for seven days and then available to buy or rent.

Gigaton producer Josh Evans said in a statement that he is “excited for fans to be able to immerse themselves in the sound and to hear the depth and layers of these songs and performances. It’s truly a unique way to experience this album.”

The band had previously planned to roll out the Visual Gigaton Experience at movie theatres across the globe, including here in Edmonton, but the pandemic made them change their plans and ultimately move to Apple TV.
