Ben Gibbard has shared a new song inspired by current events.

In “Life In Quarantine”, the Death Cab For Cutie frontman describes his hometown of Seattle as a ghost town. The entire song was written and recorded in Gibbard’s home while under self isolation.

Not only do fans get the song, Gibbard is donating all proceeds to Seattle organizations, including the homelessness non-profit Aurora Commons.

The release comes after a week’s worth of live streamed concerts from Gibbard’s home each and every day.
