2020 marks Foo Fighters’ 25th anniversary! As one of the world’s biggest bands, they put on some of the world’s biggest rock shows, but they weren’t always playing huge stadiums.

Recently, footage of the band playing their fourth ever show was unearthed. The concert took place at the Velvet Elvis Arts Lounge in Seattle, WA on March 4, 1995. The footage was shot by Nirvana fan Travis Stanley who misheard the band name and loaded “Food Fighters” into his camcorder’s title card. The band news – he captured video but no audio. Luckily, his friend Ryan Fox was there recording the set too and got the audio on his Digital Audio Tape. Check it out below.

Dave Grohl opened the show by saying, “I don’t have a voice, I gotta pee, everyone’s ready to go”. Check out his handwritten setlist below.

Last month, Grohl has confirmed that Foo Fighters’ new album is complete.
