Billie Eilish has made history by becoming the youngest artist to ever write and record a James Bond theme. On Thursday, she debuted “No Time To Die”.

Eilish wrote the theme with her brother and producer Finneas.

Commenting on the honour, Eilish said she had achieved a “life goal” by performing the theme.

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock”.

She added, “It’s a life goal, for sure.”

No Time To Die is the 25th Bond film and Daniel Craig’s last as the iconic spy. The film will see “Bond [after he] has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

It opens in theatres in April.
