When Jack White sat down with Rolling Stone, he let slip that he may have a special project brewing with rock legend Bob Dylan.

When asked if Dylan had ever given him musical advice, White said, “All the time. He’s been an incredible mentor to me, and a good friend, too.

I’m lucky to even have one conversation with him. Everything else has been icing on the cake.”

White was asked if the two rockers would ever work together or even write a song, but he just teased, “I cannot tell you that. I wish I could, but I cannot”.

In the same interview, White gave a shout out to The Hives and The Black Keys’ new albums and praised bands like Vampire Weekend and twenty one pilots who have “really great song writing” skills.
