Steven Spielberg is moving forward with a horror series for Quibi (Quick Bites) streaming service. Episodes will only be available to watch after the dark sets in.

“Steven Spielberg came in, and said, ‘I have a super scary story I want to do,'” said Quibi founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, the former Disney Studio chairman who helped launch DreamWorks Studios. “He’s writing it himself. He hasn’t [written anything in a while] so getting him to write something is fantastic.”

Spielberg has requested that the show starts after midnight. Quibi engineers have created an add-on to the streaming site: a clock will appear on users’ phones, tracking the sunset. The clock will also monitor the sunrise so that once the sun is up, the show becomes unavailable again until that night.

The show’s working title is “Spielberg After Dark”. It will premiere in April 2020.
