Margaret Atwood announces sequel to 'The Handmaid's Tale'

Nearly 35 years after it was released, Margaret Atwood has announced a sequel to “The Handmaid’s Tale”.

The sequel is called “The Testaments” and will be “set 15 years after Offred’s final scene and is narrated by three female characters,” Atwood revealed via Twitter. It will be published in September 2019.
