Arctic Monkeys release their upcoming album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino on May 11. According to an album bio featured in an event listing, the record opens with Alex Turner singing about the Strokes.

The album’s first track, “Star Treatment” begins with the line, “I just wanted to be one of the Strokes, now look at the mess you made me make/Hitchhiking with a monogrammed suitcase, miles away from any half-useful imaginary highway”. Turner discussed the line during an interview, saying “That’s me writing about writing,” he explained. “Did the Strokes line feel too close to home? Yeah, absolutely. But you can’t let that stop you.”.

Turner also revealed that he was the architect behind the album’s artwork, building it all himself. Another song off the album, “Golden Trucks” hints at possible political distaste with the line “The leader of the free world reminds you of a wrestler wearing tight golden trunks.”.

Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino will be released May 11.
