1. LCD SOUNDSYSTEM – American Dream

2. THE NATIONAL – Sleep Well Beast

This album got INSANE love from critics. Frontman Matt Berninger says,
“It’s about marriages falling apart. I’m happily married, but marriage is hard and my wife and I are writing the lyrics together about our own struggles, and it’s difficult to write, but it’s saving my marriage.”
3. DEATH FROM ABOVE – Outrage! Is Now

After wrapping up a giant tour with Broken Social Scene, Haines is back with her first solo album in 11 years – and it looks like she’s ready to kick some ass.

8. WOLF PARADE – Cry Cry Cry

After a six year hiatus, the Canadian rockers are back with Cry Cry Cry. Fun fact: they opened for Arcade Fire in 2005 when they played Red’s.

24. NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS – WHO BUILT THE MOON?

Gallagher announced the album with the release of a new track, “Holy Mountain”.
