Talk about a STICKY situation! High five!

Three men in connection to an $18 million maple syrup heist were sentenced to 8 years in prison, with one being fined over $9 million. They’ll also have to pay the $18 million back over the next ten years or face more jail time.

The men stole over 2, 700 tons of the Canadian goodness from a Quebec warehouse between August 2011 and July 2012. The reported goal of the heist was to sell barrels of the stuff on the blackmarket.

GO CANADA!!!!
