Rolling Stone just did an article on Connor Mcdavid being the youngest captain in NHL history. In the article they called Edmonton a “weird place”:

“Edmonton with all its isolation, is sort of a weird place geographically for a professional sports franchise.”

Who are you calling “weird”, Rolling Stone!? We’re the city with a gorgeous river valley through the whole city, we’ve got shiny metal balls beside our freeway, and the Flaman man – the mascot that never gives up! just keeps running.
Okay, maybe we are a little weird…
