LADYA mattress company in the states is apologising for a television commercial satirising the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Watch below.

99.9% of people would have known this is a bad idea. We’ve apparently found that less than 1%. A mattress company used the 9/11 terrorist attacks as the centrepiece in a mattress commercial that has caused the internet to lose its mind. The ad has since been ‘taken down’, the store has ‘closed indefinitely’ and the staff are now dodging death threats. How could such an obvious mistake happen like this? publicity stunt? Doubtful. Fools running the store? Most likely. Watch the initial commercial and the mattress company’s apology below.

The mattress store owner’s apology

Miracle Mattress’ store is “closed indefinitely,” according to a statement posted on the company’s Facebook page. “We will be silent through the 9/11 Anniversary to avoid any further distractions from a day of recognition and remembrance for the victims and their families,” wrote owner Mike Bonanno.
