Star High School Basketball Player is Actually 29

Jonathan Nicola is a new Canadian who moved to Windsor, ON about 6 months ago. He enrolled in high school (grade 11) and because he’s 6 foot 9 and 202 pounds, he INSTANTLY made the basketball team.

Only problem is… he’s actually 29.

The Guardian talked to Canadian Border Services about how they discovered his real age:

“When he recently applied for a US visitor visa, it was determined by fingerprint match that he was the same individual who had made a previous application to the US using a DOB of November 1, 1986,”

Well that would do it… It also explains why he was the only kid on the team who knows how to do his own taxes.
