On a Mac: “OPTION”+”P”

On a PC: Engage “NUMLOCK”, hold “ALT”+”9″+”6″+”0”

On an iPhone: Copy the symbol character from an existing page. Create custom a keyboard shortcut for commonly used symbols. To define a shortcut, go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Shortcuts. Using copy-and-paste to enter the symbol for each shortcut. Install a third-party keyboard from the App Store such as “The Math Keyboard”.
