There’s a conference in the states that wants to ban people from clapping after someone makes a speech.
They say “please can we ask people to stop clapping but do feminist jazz hands? it’s triggering some peoples’ anxiety. ”

![Practical example: This woman shows how jazz hands should be done - but NUS delegates were urged not to make any noise doing it](http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/03/25/12/26FAB06100000578-3010872-image-m-20_1427287129812.jpg)
WHAT!? So imagine you’re up on stage, you give a moving speech… and when you’re done. No applause. No clapping just silence. and jazz hands.
Listen. Anxiety is a real thing. It sucks. But if you want to trigger your anxiety,go up on stage and have hundreds of people wave their hands in your face.
